I got all the tiling installed, grouted and washed down, now its time to get the rest of the suite installed. I installed the rest of the suite so that it was plumb, I sealed the enclosure, tested all appliances and was left in full working order. The customer was really pleased with their new bathroom suite and couldn't believe how good the finished article was. I went back after the painter and decorators had been in to hang the mirror and blind and to take some final photographs. The customers are over the moon with it and so am I.

Below is some photographs of the end product...

After the room was cleared, I began to first fix for the new bathroom. When I add the boards up, I investigated the squeeky floor and we hit a BIG problem, the joists was too far apart and even with new flooring down would be no good for tiling onto. I explained to the customer and they was more than happy to do the job properly, so I got my brother in who's a builder and he put extra joists in and strengthen the floor and lay the new flooring down (problem solved). The room was then re-boarded and plastered before the electrician then come in to fit the spot lights and fan. Right now time to get back to some plumbing, I installed the bath and shower tray and sealed and tested them. Time to tile, After working out the tile centres and measurements I began to get stuck in to the tiling.

To the left are some photographs showing how we progressed...

We was asked by a customer to renovate thier bathroom suite. They had a nice bathroom suite already in with the old style partition wall seperating the w.c from the basin and bath and they wanted the partition wall taking out, a modern look bathroom suite, new tiling on the floor and walls and we was asked if we could take a look at the very loud, squeeky floor. I surveyed the job and arranged for the different trades to come in so the works all followed a schedule, which I let the customer have so they was aware of what trades was coming on what days. I started by isolating the services to the bathroom and making safe, I then removed the existing suite, and tiles followed by removing the partition wall and cupboard....
